[b:0b1c01a32d]Not Just Another [/b:0b1c01a32d]
[b:0b1c01a32d]Myon Morgan[/b:0b1c01a32d]

Engulfed with the suns rays,
I wake to the sound of rhythm.
Not rhythmic notes of the maestro's beat
or the sounds of swift tapping of his feet,
But the Beat of rain drops.
Dripping and Falling hard,
hitting not this earths surface

But my heart, cleansing me just the same,
So to know me, is not just to know my name,
But to know that to me,
this is not just any other day,
This is indeed, "The Way", My way of living...
Living each moment like my last
not settling for second,

Not allowing a single moment to pass,
Me at the door,
So I'll continually jump high
hoping to swore, and reach new heights,
So I'll always stand to fight,
Because this is not just any other night,
this is our night,
the night we share,

A heated moment of passion,
Never ending conversation,
and "A Star Gazing"
Deep with in "You Eyes",
Cause in your eyes is where my star lies.

A guide for me through this day,
Not just another day
But this day
always
"Our Way"!!

[b:2134e3adbc]DISMANTLED LONGINGS[/b:2134e3adbc]

[b:2134e3adbc]T. Ashok Chakravarthy[/b:2134e3adbc]

A poem finds fertility to sprout
From the seed of a disillusioned thought
I assume, it's a beginning perhaps
To reach the peaks of a new musing.

Enclosed in self imposed circumstances
When can we share peace and serenity?
Moving within, as creators and destroyers
How can we establish a kingdom of peace?

The tide of peace had already run ashore
Desperate, we stretch hands unto the giver
Without a nest to dwell, the dove of trust
Flew-off across the sun beyond every view.

Until the burst of violence rocked everyone
The time gave many a chance for peace
When engrossed in joys, we ignored its worth
Now, the same tendency flocks for peace.

The fastened doors of peace lay abandoned
Instead, brutal and vicious violence greets
Together they plough and trample peace
The longings built seem dismantled forever.

Like a sower who scatter seeds in a field,
Who can scatter the seeds of peace now?
If the field itself is soaked with unholy blood
Does a scope exist to plant a garden of roses?

學習!我比較喜歡愛米莉·狄更生的詩作,可惜只有中文的版本,只找到一首原作。請問版主能否幫忙找到她的更多原作?

HOPE IS THE THING WITH FEATHERS

"Hope" is the thing with feathers—
That perches in the soul—
And sings the tune without the words—
And never stops—at all—

And sweetest — in the Gale— is heart—
And sore must be the storm—
That could abash the little bird—
That kept so many warm—

I've heard it in the chilliest land—
And on the strangest Sea—
Yet, never, in Extremity,
It asked a crumb — of me.

[b:e7f11da292] I'm Nobody! [/b:e7f11da292]

I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody too?
Then there's a pair of us? Don't tell!
They'd advertise, you know!

How dreary to be somebody!
How public - like a frog -
To tell one's name the livelong June
To an admiring bog!

[b:e7f11da292]I heard a Fly buzz — when I died[/b:e7f11da292]

I heard a Fly buzz — when I died —
The Stillness in the Room
Was like the Stillness in the Air —
Between the Heaves of Storm —

The Eyes around — had wrung them dry —
And Breaths were gathering firm
For that last Onset — when the King
Be witnessed — in the Room —

I willed my Keepsakes — Signed away
What portion of me be
Assignable — and then it was
There interposed a Fly —

With Blue — uncertain stumbling Buzz —
Between the light — and me —
And then the Windows failed — and then
I could not see to see —

[b:e7f11da292]Heart! We will forget him![/b:e7f11da292]

Heart! We will forget him! You and I-tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave- I will forget the light!
When you have done, pray tell me That I may straight begin!
Haste! lest while you're lagging I remember him!

[b:e7f11da292]If you were coming in the Fall.[/b:e7f11da292]

If you were coming in the Fall,
I'd brush the Summer by
With half a smile, and half a spurn,
As Housewives do, a Fly.

If I could see you in a year,
I'd wind the months in balls-
And put them each in sperate Drawers,
For fear the numbers fuse-

If only Centuries, delayed,
I'd count them on my Hand,
Subtracting, till my fingers dropped
Into Van Dieman's Land,

If certain, when this life was out-
That yours and mine, should be
I'd toss it yonder, like a Rind,
And take Eternity-

But, now, uncertain of the length
Of this, that is between,
It goads me, like the Goblin Bee-
That will not state-its sting.

[b:e7f11da292]Tell all the Truth, but tell it slant.[/b:e7f11da292]

Tell all the Truth but tell it slant-
Success in Circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm
Delight The Truth's superb suprise

As Lightning to the Children eased
With explanation kind The
Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind-

[b:e7f11da292]I heard a fly buzz- when I die.[/b:e7f11da292]

I heard a Fly buzz-when I died-
The Stillness in the Room
Was like the Stillness in the Air-
Between the Heaves of Storm-

The Eyes around-had wrung them dry-
And Breaths were gathering firm
For that last Onset-when the King
Be witnessed-in the Room-

I willed my Keepsakes-Signed away
What portion of me be

There interposed a Fly-

With Blue-uncertain stumbling Buzz-
Between the light-and me-
And then the Windows failed-
and then I could not see to see-

[b:e7f11da292]Part One: Life[/b:e7f11da292]

XXXII

That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;

[b:e7f11da292]Part Three: Love[/b:e7f11da292]

LI
MY friend must be a bird,
Because it flies!
Mortal my friend must be,
Because it dies!
Barbs has it, like a bee.
Ah, curious friend,
Thou puzzlest me!

[b:e7f11da292]Part Four: Time and Eternity.[/b:e7f11da292]

XIV

I WENT to thank her,
But she slept;
Her bed a funnelled stone,
With nosegays at the head and foot,
That travellers had thrown,

Who went to thank her;
But she slept.
』T was short to cross the sea
To look upon her like, alive,
But turning back 』t was slow.
